She graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University where she received her B.S. in Community Health Education, before continuing her education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where she acquired her B.S. and certificate for Surgical Physician Assistant. Furthering her education, in 2003 Shanah received her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies with an emphasis in Dermatology. She has worked in dermatology for 20 plus years where she has excelled in various procedures ranging from Botox to skin cancer removal.
Shanah is adept in advanced filler techniques, including the repair of tear-trough deformities and malar creases. She has performed 1000+ Thermage, Vasculight and N-lite procedures, and was featured on Telemundo for her efficiency in Vasculight.
